1. Find an empty plastic egg. Pat Model Magic smooth and flat. Spread it over the entire egg. Lift it and pinch it closed until the entire shape is covered. This will become the bunny body.
2. Flatten a ball of Model Magic to create a base for the bunny body. Set the body on top of the base.
3. To make the bunny’s cheeks: Roll 2 balls of Model Magic about the size of a small grape. Flatten them just a little. Press in place on the front of the egg.
I found myself wishing I could quit my job, stay home and play with toys. I remembered sitting at the table rolling playdough into snakes and balls and how truely delightfully easy and fulfilling this was. I compared this to my new used PC laptap which I couldn't connect to the coffee house wireless last Sunday. The new wireless device I had that I spent hours trying to connect. The sweating and swearing, the disappointment. I hated technology. I finally found something that helps me to unscramble the faulty wiring in my brain so I could write, yet I couldn't get it to work. I wanted to cry. I considered hiring a personal geek. My husband having observed this in his very Zen way (unless something was happening with I-Tunes or his music recording system) reacted by saying, "I may be stepping out on a limb here, but have you thought about taking a pencil and paper to the coffee house?" A pencil and paper!?! I don't know, has he thought about returning to 8-tracks or recording his guitar playing on a reel-to-reel tape recorder?? When my father was alive and deaing with Alzheimer's, I used to take him on errands with me to Target or Walmart and drop him off in his favorite department, the toys. Now, I understand.
