I'M BORED

How many times have I brushed my teeth? Did I mention I am 56? Here’s the math. At age 3, I had all my teeth and could manipulate the toothbrush fairly well. I was on my own. Let's begin. Age 56 - 3 years x 364 days a year x 2 (I brush twice a day) = 38,584 times. Of course I have not always brushed twice a day (and neither have you), so maybe I’ve really only brushed 30,584 times. Thirty thousand, five hundred and eighty-four times! It makes complete sense to me why I am bored with brushing my teeth. Not long ago I bought one of those kid's brushes that looks like a bug and has a flickering light that stops flickering to let you know when you've brushed long enough. I really bought it for the soft bristles but it sort of helped pass the time.

I am also bored with taking showers, getting dressed, peeing, and so forth and so on. Can I hire someone to do these things for me? Maybe I should do them differently, change them up a bit; try brushing my teeth while dancing to the greatest hits from the 70’s, putting on my socks first, or sitting backwards on the toilet WHILE putting on my socks! Tonight my husband said he was headed to the bathroom and then to bed. "In that order?" I asked him? Just thought he might be bored too.
